On December 29, 2022, the CNNC Tancheng 101MW/204MWh energy storage power station was successfully connected to the grid. This project is one of the first key infrastructure projects and energy storage demonstration projects in Shandong Province in 2022, and also the first 4-hour all vanadium flow battery energy storage project in Shandong Province.
The CNNC Tancheng 101MW/204MWh energy storage power station is located in Guichang Township, Tancheng County, Linyi City, Shandong Province. The project is invested and constructed by CNNC Huineng, with a total investment of about 450 million yuan, including a 100MW/200MWh lithium iron phosphate energy storage system and a 1MW/4MWh all vanadium flow battery energy storage system. The power station is designed to operate for 25 years. ENERFLOW exclusively provides the all vanadium flow battery energy storage system for this project and participates in the planning and design of the energy storage power station.
