ENERFLOW was selected as the first major technical equipment in the energy field in the fourth batch of the national list

On January 13, 2025, the China Energy Administration issued Announcement No. 1 of 2025, stating that ENERFLOW Technology Co., Ltd.'s important scientific and technological achievement of "500kWh all vanadium flow battery energy storage system based on hydrochloric acid based electrolyte" was officially included in the "Fourth Batch of Major Technical Equipment List in the Energy Field" of the China Energy Administration.

In recent years, China has continued to increase policy support for new energy storage technologies. In Announcement No. 1, the China Energy Administration clearly stated that "the supporting projects for the application of the first (set) of major technological equipment shall be given priority in relevant planning and approved by investment authorities at all levels according to their authority"; The bidding for the first major technical equipment in the energy field, after approval by the industry regulatory department, can adopt non bidding methods such as single source procurement and competitive negotiation to ensure task implementation. At the same time, the National Development and Reform Commission and the China Energy Administration have issued the "Implementation Plan for the Special Action to Optimize the Regulation Capacity of the Power System (2025-2027)", which clearly proposes to renovate or construct a number of new energy storage power stations that are uniformly dispatched by dispatching agencies, and continue to promote the renovation of existing new energy storage facilities that meet the conditions.
